6.Posisi: PIPING ENGINEER

Responsibility:

Review and ensure all designs, documents and drawings are in proper as per design standard and specifications. Propose to Project Site Manager for approval catch up plan, change order, and to act on review and recommendations. Review field construction and installation progress as per schedule, and together with EPC contractor develop catch up plan if progress is behind plan. Ensure that the right material/construction method is followed in accordance to local standards & international standards (ASME, ASTM, NACE, ANSI, API, AWS, SSPC and etc). Together with EPC contractor develop piping system design, inspection, test and acceptance criteria of the constructions and installations. Participate in Hazop review and ensure that follow up recommendations are implemented. Carryout inspections and tests of all piping facilities contructions and installations based on standard applied.

Job Requirements:

-Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable domestic and overseas universities, with GPA Min. 3.0.

-Good knowledge in design, fabrication, installation and maintenance of piping system.

-Excellence in design and visualization software CAD, 3D, pipenet and others

-Excellent in design and project planning software such as MS Projects, and other related software for project such as stress calculation etc.

-Familiar with local and international design standards

-Managerial ability

-Reporting & presentation capabilities.

-Must have at least 10 years work experience in related chemical, oil, gas and petrochemical industries as:

1.Design, fabrication, installation and construction engineer
2.Construction supervisor.
